𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗙𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

The Chongwe Secondary School Former Students Association (CHOFOSA) held its Annual General Meeting on April 29, 2024, celebrating a significant achievement with the installation of a new executive committee.

Lubinda Sinyani was voted in as the new President of CHOFOSA, while Audrey Chakulimba made history as the association’s inaugural female Vice President.

In his acceptance speech, President Sinyani stressed the importance of solidarity and diversity within the alumni community, encouraging members to collaborate and shape the future of CHOFOSA.

He acknowledged the devoted service of the outgoing Executive Committee and expressed appreciation for their contributions.

The newly elected President outlined his key objectives, which include member engagement, revitalized connections, and constitutional reforms to enhance diversity and effectiveness.

He also proposed a lifetime membership amendment, exempting former students from annual subscription fees as a gesture of gratitude for their continued support.

The new CHOFOSA executive committee members are:

President: Lubinda Sinyani

Vice President: Audrey Chakulimba

Secretary General: Christopher Chishala

Treasurer General: Davison Justice Lunensu

Committee Members: Dennis Dabali, Kelvin Masiye, and Richard Chanda

The election of the new executive committee marks a new era for CHOFOSA, as alumni look forward to working together towards a brighter future for the association and its members.
